    • Matt touched the lives of so many people and had such a positive impact in this world. I feel truly blessed to have you as one of my friends as do so many other people. The fun memories and stories we have of you are endless. I won’t forget your snicker and your very generous heart and your willingness to help everyone around you and make them feel good. Even though you are gone you are not forgotten. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you Matt (Ratty) and thanks again for the boots!!

    • We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Matthew’s passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find comfort in each other, in sharing precious memories, and in God’s enduring love. Our deepest sympathy.

    • Leah, you and both your families are in our thoughts and prayers. Matt had the biggest heart and generous actions of anyone. He was one of “my boys” during the time he worked at Northwestern Mutual, especially when he and Jason worked together. Matt will be greatly missed.

Leah and Vickie, please feel free to call Jason or myself if you need anything. May God give you peace and comfort in the wonderful memories you have of your husband and son.

    • Tom and I are saddened by Matt’s passing. We are so sorry for Leah, and her family, and all of Matt’s family and friends

    • Its hard losing someone that left such an impact on everyone he met. I pray for strength to everyone who knew him. He left us with memories that will live on forever. God got a good one. RIP Matt.

    • A hundred dollars says Baum walked into heaven wearing work boots, blue jeans and a sleeveless. Ill remember him being one of the great antic starters I have ever been around. Just toed the line between something being funny and harmless or possibly going to jail or getting suspended from school, ha. We would be like, ah I guess we can plan for this antic days in advance, oh and you’re thinking of spending money on this too, gee let me think, okay I guess this sounds harmless, ha. But really smart guy too as everyone knows, not surprised at all he accomplished. This is a tough one for me, I wont forget him ever.

    • Our hearts are breaking for you. Find strength with your friends and family. Leah you need anything let us know. You too Niles and Sara! God loves you.
