Matthew W. Wilde, age 34, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Dayton, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2011 at his home.

Matthew was born on November 2, 1977 to William and Lynda (Holme) Wilde in Anoka, Minnesota. He grew up in Dayton, Minnesota and graduated from Elk River High School in 1996. Matthew moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005 where he was self-employed.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Lynda of Hudson, WI; father William of Las Vegas, Nevada; beloved brother, Nick (Pam) Wilde and their daughter, Nora of Anoka, Minnesota and many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends in Minnesota and Las Vegas.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Evelyn Holme and Charles and Marjorie Lawler.

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at 3pm on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Afton, Minnesota. Visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to services at the church. Memorials given will be donated, by the family, to a charity in Matthew’s name. Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, Wisconsin.
