Maxine C. Brost, age 100 of Hudson died peacefully July 24, 2020 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson. Maxine was born on December 31, 1919 in Albert Lea, MN. She would later meet and marry Curtis E. Brost. They had many good memories together, before he sadly would precede her in death in 2001.

Maxine enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She also took much relaxation at the family cabin on Big Moon Lake near Clayton where she loved her refreshing ‘nickel’ beers!

Maxine will leave fond memories with her son Joseph (Evie) Carroll of Lakeland, daughters-in-law Mary Carroll of No. St. Paul, Sandy Carroll of Austin, MN; grandchildren Scott (Barb), Teri (Brian), Julie (Mike), Steve, Connie, Jessie (Shawn), as well as many great and great-great grandchildren. Her husband Curtis; sons John and Jim precede her in death.

Private committal services were held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes.
