Michael Clark

Michael R. Clark, age 61 of Stillwater, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2022. Mike was born on August 20, 1960 in New Brighton, Minnesota to Robert and Mary (Lynch) Clark. He attended St. Michael’s Catholic School and graduated from Stillwater High School with the class of 1980. He continued his education at Century College, later becoming a heavy equipment operator and a proud 49er. Mike was united in marriage to Lori Lindau on June 28, 1986 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Stillwater, and the couple was blessed with a daughter, Tori. Mike worked as a crane operator for Vic’s Crane & Heavy Haul.

Mike was a wonderful man who lived life to the fullest. He was proud of his family, and his granddaughter Lottie was his pride and joy. He was extremely outgoing and enjoyed being out and about. Mike will be remembered for his gut busting laugh and his ability to play by his own rules. He worked hard but played even harder, and was fond of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time on the pontoon on the Apple River in Amery, Wisconsin. He will be missed.

Mike will remain in the heart of his wife of 35 years, Lori; daughter, Tori (Nathan “Nate”) Alger; granddaughter, Charlotte “Lottie” Alger; siblings, Steve (Janet) Clark, David (Shirley) Clark, Deb (John) Thompson, Nancy (Del) Palacheck, Bob (Chris) Clark; siblings-in-law, Kathy Lindau (Mike Mittl), and Bill Lindau (Tracy Maslowski-Adkins); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Mary Clark; parents-in-law, Jack and Bev Lindau; brother-in-law, John Schulte; and nephew, Clark Schulte.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Mike will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 611 3rd St. S, Stillwater, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church. Following the mass, the celebration of Mike’s life will continue at the 3rd Street Post in Stillwater. Memorials preferred. Cards for Mike’s family can be mailed to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI 54016, to be forwarded.
