A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI.

Funeral Services

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, with a gathering one hour prior to the service at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Road, Hudson, WI.

Michael D. Bierbrauer, age 54 of Somerset, WI passed away unexpectedly of heart failure on February 19, 2018.

Michael was born on May 1, 1963 in New Richmond, WI to Dean and Kathryn (Brunberg) Bierbrauer. He was united in marriage to Jodie Graff on October 20, 1990 and together they were blessed with 3 children; Emily, Leah, and Daniel, bringing them great joy.

Mike spent 34 years working as the owner and President of St. Croix Insulation Inc., in Hudson, WI. He took pride in providing superior service and built a reputation for quality work and satisfied customers. Mike was well loved by his suppliers, customers and employees alike.

Mike was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at the cabin he built in the north woods of Wisconsin. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, driving his UTV’s or his pride and joy, a restored 1958 Willys Jeep. Mike’s thoughtfulness was a blessing to all who knew him.

Michael is survived by the love of his life, Jodie; his precious children, Emily, Leah, and Daniel; parents, Dean (Slyvia) Bierbrauer and Kathryn Bierbrauer; siblings, Brenda (Tony) Fall, Mark (Teresa) Bierbrauer and Billie Jo Bierbrauer

He was preceded in death by his niece, Samantha Bierbrauer in 2004.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. A Funeral Service will be held for Mike at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, officiated by Pastors Tim Porter and Gary Hilgendorf of Hayward, at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Rd., Hudson, WI. Services are entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, WI.
