Michael Drier

Michael Drier, age 76, of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. Born on June 29, 1949, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Edward and Ailene Drier, Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A man of integrity and dedication, Michael worked proudly as the Service Manager at the Tenant Company, where he made a lasting impact. Outside of his professional life, Michael had a deep love for family, cars, and the outdoors. He cherished his time spent at his cabin in Crosby, boating with family and friends. Michael also enjoyed camping trips to Lake Independence, where he created countless memories with those he loved.

An avid car enthusiast, Michael’s passion for automobiles was evident in the classic cars he owned, including a Mustang. His love for adventure extended to family vacations, with his most memorable trip being to Disney World with his daughter, a testament to creating special moments with his loved ones.

Michael had a natural gift for conversation and was known for his warm and witty sense of humor, which brightened every room he entered. He had a special bond with his high school sweetheart and beloved wife, Rita. Their enduring love and partnership were at the heart of his life, and he cherished her deeply.

Michael will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and a life well-lived. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Rita, sister, Katherine (Derrell) Adams daughter, Katie (Patrick) Byrne, grandchildren Emily, Anthony, Liam, Jaxon, and many friends and family. He is preceded by: his parents, and son Mathew Drier.

A celebration will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at St. Croix Lanes 1153 St Croix St, River Falls, WI 54022. There will be a short service led by Pastor Dan at 12:30 PM to honor Michael’s life.
