Michael M. Forester, age 50 of Apple Valley, California, formerly of Roberts, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2019 at his residence.

Michael was born Michael James Foster on August 9, 1968 in Hudson, WI to James and Jean (Paulson) Foster. He grew up in Roberts and graduated from St. Croix Central High School in 1987, then went to University of Wisconsin- River Falls. Michael was was a traveler and never wanted to stay in the same place, he was always looking for the next adventure. After college he moved to Las Vegas, he spent more then a decade there. He then spent a few years in southern Wisconsin and after that he moved to sunny California. through his travels he had various job, his last being a truck driver.

Michael is survived by his sister, Laura (Charles) Hahr; nephew and niece, Jacob and Yekaterina Hahr; several aunts and uncles; as well as other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Jean Foster; infant brother, Adam; nephews, Henry and Nicholas Hahr.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson.
