In Memory of Michael James “Jim” Potts
An extraordinary gift was given from above
when God entrusted Jim to our lives to know and love.
In stature and in spirit, he stood tall by anyone.
Many are the lives that have been touched by things he’s done.
One has to wonder where he got the strength and the endurance
to be present for so many, helping out with such assurance.
His twinkling eyes could make you smile; his gentleness, a gift.
The stories that he had to tell gave anyone a lift.
He had a zest for life that would put most of us to shame;
For even in the toughest times, he could get up for the game!
With true appreciation for the splendor of God’s world,
His keen perception captured each delight as it unfurled.
We’ll miss you, Jim, but in our hearts your memory lingers on;
Just as the love you’ve left with us will always remain strong.
And though we know without you by our side we now must trod,
we rest assured realizing you are in the hands of God.
May God Bless Your Memory
May God Strengthen and Sustain Your Family and Friends.
I will always remember Jim as a man of dignity, fairness and a pleasure to be around. His friends in Canada are thinking of the good times and good business we had over the years dealing with Jim. Our thoughts are with Joan and girls this week. sincerely, Bill Jameson .
