Michael “Mike” Linehan

Michael Anthony “Mike” Linehan, age 59, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin passed away on November 1, 2024 after a long battle with Epilepsy. He was born on December 7th, 1964, attended St. Francis Parochial School and graduated from Ellsworth High School Class of ‘83. Later he bought the family farm where he lived for the rest of his life.

He was generous with his time and love for his family. He was known to his friends and family for his love of cars and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mike had a good sense of humor and uncanny ability to bring fun into any situation. He will be missed tremendously by his family and the community of Ellsworth.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Linehan of Minneapolis; siblings Phil (Beth) Linehan of River Falls and Shannon Banishoraka of Minneapolis; nieces and nephews Matthew, Kamran, Kavon, Hannah and Yasmin; aunts and uncles; and his long-time friend Debra Woods of Ellsworth.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Linehan; grandparents Fred (Angeline) Linehan and Daniel (Doris) Carlstrom; and his cat Tigger.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 16th, at English Lutheran Church, 229 West Main St, Ellsworth, WI, at 11:30am with visitation at 11:00am. Lunch to follow from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
