Milton M. Hamman, age 88, of Wilson, WI, passed away on October 24, 2010 at the Baldwin Hospital. Milton was born on October, 5, 1922 to Edward and Louise (Frank) Hamman in Oak Grove Township, WI. He attended school at Lone Oak School in Oak Grove, Prescott Grade School & Prescott High School. After school Milton took on work as a dairy farmer. Sadly, Ruth passed away in 1993. Milton eventually sold the cattle to focus on crop work. In September of 1998 Milton met Evelyn Spielman, a cook at the Pleasant View Inn. After frequently stopping to eat Evelyn’s food at the inn, the two went out on their first date. They fell in love and Milton spent the last 12 years of his life with Evelyn as his beloved companion. Milton lived and worked on his farm until 2009 when he moved to Wilson.
Milton was a hard working and very dedicated man. He enjoyed time with friends and family, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Buddy. Always the farmer, Milton enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and took interest in old and antique tractors and farm machinery.
