Coley Ann Frye, age 29, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at the University of Minnesota Fairview. She was surrounded by her loving family as well as her extended medical family.

Coley was born September 7, 1989, in Stillwater, MN, the daughter of Todd and Tracy Frye. She graduated Hudson High School in 2008. Coley had a great work ethic and did so whenever her health allowed. Her most prideful job was volunteering at North Hudson Elementary School; where her son attended school.

Coley embodied strength, courage, and the unbreakable will to keep fighting throughout her entire life. She had a perpetually positive outlook. Her determination and readiness to carry on allowed an opportunity to claim her own personal victory over the circumstances which surrounded her illness. She was the most accepting person, was always ready to listen and was one of the few people in life where a filter was never needed.

Coley had one wish in this life, and that was to become a mother; this wish was granted with the birth of her miracle boy, Zayden. Coley and Zayden shared an inseparable bond, not only as mother and son, but as best friends. She was incredibly proud to call Zayden her son.

Coley loved her family and friends. She cherished each moment of support, admiration, and unlimited love. She also loved watching her #coleystrong family grow. To all of us, Coley was the strongest person we have ever met.

Coley will always be remembered with love by her son, Zayden; mom, Tracy (Michael Englund) Frye; father, Todd (Candy Kaiser) Frye; sister, Veronica (Josh Wilson) Frye; maternal grandma, Diane Morgan; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Gaye Frye; her niece-to-be, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandpa, Bill Morgan; aunt, Tammy Lynette; uncle, Tom Frye.

A Celebration of Coley’s life will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, March, 15, 2019, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, WI. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, WI
