Norman F. Kaelble

Norman F. Kaelble, age 87 of Hudson, WI, formerly of St. Paul, MN, passed away May 25, 2014. Norman was born December 28, 1926 in St. Paul, MN, the son of Paul and Anna (Liebold) Kaelble. Norman proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1945. He was united in marriage on April 15, 1955 to Rita Ann Doran. Their marriage was blessed with 3 sons, Paul, Donald and Kevin. Norman worked as a meat cutter for National and Red Owl Stores for nearly 20 years. He also worked as a custodian for 22 years for the St. Paul Civic Center, retiring in 1996.

Outside of work, Norman enjoyed fishing. He loved watching Nascar races and shared that interest with his grandson, Donovan. He cherished his time with his grandchildren, and was fond of spoiling them and going above and beyond decorating for them for Christmas. Although Norman was set in his ways, he enjoyed staying active and helping his sons in their restaurants. He was devoted to his wife, and took care of her in her last years, until her passing in 2006.

Norman is survived by his sons, Paul, Don (Terry Tucker), and Kevin (Susan); grandchildren, Jacquelene, Donovan & Sean; and brother, Donald of St. Paul. He was preceded in death by wife, Rita; and sisters, Muriel & Corrine.
