Age 92, of St. Paul, MN, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home in St. Paul, MN.Oliver was born on January 5, 1922 in the town of Trimbelle, Pierce County, WI, the son of Godfrey and Helena (Denzer) Kullman.He attended Ellsworth High School until 1940 and later served in the Merchant Marines. He was discharged after a few months after contracting Rheumatic Fever.Oliver farmed and hauled milk but mostly worked as an auto body mechanic throughout his working life, retiring in the 1984. In his retirement Oliver took up golf, scoring a hole-in-one at Cedar-Home Golf Course on August 6, 1993 at the age of 71. He also loved classical music, traveling, and Square Dancing.He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.Oliver is survived by two brothers: Duane (Margaret) Kullman, and John (Liz) Kullman, both of Prescott, WI. Special cousins, Steve, Judy, Tommy and Christie Kullman.He is further survived by other relatives and friends.Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, Sylvia Harwell, and Mildred Deiss and two brothers, Rufus and Anthony Laverne.Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Prescott, is serving the family.
