Ollie Mae Struve

Ollie Mae Struve, age 84, of Prescott died Friday, January 09, 2015 at Prescott Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born August 18, 1930, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Briggs) Dickenson in Denver, CO.
She married LeRoy Struve on February 8, 1948 and resided in Prescott. She was a long-time employee of H.D. Hudson Manufacturing Company. Ollie was a member of St. John’s UCC, Oak Grove where she sang in the choir, served on committees and a board member. Ollie was a lifetime member of the Prescott American Legion Auxiliary. She loved sewing, needlepoint, and most all crafts making many beautiful items for her family and the church bazaars. She loved entertaining relatives with the best food and attended many school and sporting events for her children and grandchildren. She portrayed how to live a good life with her work ethics and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, in 2012 and her parents.
Ollie is survived by: son Larry (Shirley) of Eagle, WI; daughter Rahndy (Fred) Jadinak of Mankato, MN; sons Joseph (Barbara) of Prescott, Gerald C “Zeke” (friend Nancy Johnson) of Prescott, and Brian (Holly) of Hastings; sisters Sally Anntree of New Richmond and Cyndy Goeller of Kissimmee, FL; brothers Chuck (Gloria) of Hubertus, WI and Greg (Raeley) of Slinger, WI; sister-in-law, Dorothy Johnson of Hudson, WI; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and many loving family members.
A funeral service for Ollie will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Prescott, WI at 11:00 am. Visitation will be on Friday, January 16, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Hill Funeral Home in Prescott, WI, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Glen Cemetery.
