Roger was united in marriage to Judy M. Wright on February 19, 1966 in Hastings, MN. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Tammy; and three sons, Chuck, Bob and Bill. Roger worked as a Production Operator for 3M for over 40 years. He served for 15 years as a firefighter for the Prescott Fire Department.

A true outdoorsman, Roger appreciated the peacefulness of fishing, deer hunting, camping, and being with his family at their cabin. Most important to Roger was his family. He was a great example to his children, and provided a memory rich childhood to them. He was a dedicated husband, a loving father, and a cherished grandfather. Roger loved his family well, and treasured every minute he had with his grandchildren. He adored his special companion, his dog, Snickers, who was always by his side. Being a sports lover and a true Wisconsinite, Roger was a devoted Green Bay Packers, Badgers, and Brewers fan. He always looked forward to watching his grandchildren competing in their favorite sports, and especially enjoyed wrestling. Roger had a gracious heart, opening his home to others, and providing a helping hand to anyone who needed. His great sense of humor was sure to bring a smile to those around him.
