Otto Bloedow age 80 of Prescott died August 18, 2021 of an acute illness while traveling in Morocco. Otto was born in 1941 to Otto and Margaret Bloedow. He was raised in the Twin Cities attending Jenny Lind Elementary prior to graduating from Robbinsdale High School. He would further his schooling at St. Olaf College. In 1967, he was united in marriage to his best friend and soul mate Tinka Kulzer. This union was blessed with amazing children and many life adventures. But it certainly had its tragedies as well. Through and through, their bond of love and humility, persevered with God’s unwavering help, guided through their trials and tribulations. Otto’s commitment to learn from life’s hardships served not only as an example to his family, but anyone that came into his life.

His immediate family will forever be grateful for his unconditional love and support.

Otto F Bloedow is survived by wife Tinka of 54 years, best friend for 63 years; children: KahTia (deceased), Miyah, ReeAh & Janet, TeeJa (deceased), Mali and Fabrice, Grant & Lisa, Linda, Brenda & Richard, FT, Akberet & Asres, Binh & Sonny; siblings: Jerry & Elsa, Willis & Ruth, (Ruth S, Grace & Donald deceased.) Sisters of the heart Virginia & Mary P.

May the legacy of his blessed life be manifest in the people who have known and loved him. Otto reflected the love of his Creator. He lived gratefully in the world that intrigued and excited his curiosity, forever on a quest to know and understand more…of everything. His last words were “thank you”.

In paying respect to his service in the United States Army, he is laid to rest in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
