Patricia A. Bahneman

Patricia “Pat” Ann Bahneman, age 64, of North Hudson, WI, passed away on October 8, 2013 at the Kinnic Home in River Falls, WI after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Pat was born on December 7, 1948 in Red Wing, MN to Lloyd Charles and Dorothy Evelyn (Ruppert) Myer. After graduating from Ellsworth High School in 1967, she began working for a St. Paul insurance company as well as the State Bank in Hudson. She would later begin working for Norlake Industries in Hudson as a Bill of Material technician. On August 25, 1973, she was united in marriage to Dennis Andrle in Ellsworth, WI. Following his passing in 1995, she was united in marriage to James Bahneman on July 14, 1996 in Rapid City, SD. Jim and his son, Jason, joined Pat, and her daughter, Cassandra, to form a loving family.

Pat was a family person. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren – who referred to her as “Nana.” She was a talented knitter and seamstress, making coats, baptismal gowns, and dresses. She also loved tending to her garden and spending time outdoors camping. She grew up helping on the family farm. She also enjoyed showing her cows , “Pandora” and “Bessie” in 4-H, and in later years, helping her daughter Cassandra with her involvement in 4-H.

She is survived by her husband, Jim of North Hudson, WI; daughter, Cassandra (Wayne) Bakken of North Hudson, WI; step-son, Jason (Jayne) Bahneman of New Richmond, WI; grandchildren: Evelyn Joanna, Korben Dennis, Bjorn Christian, Hayden John, and Landon James; and one sister, Gloria (Dennis) Jackman of Coon Rapids, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joanne; and first husband, Dennis Andrle.

A Memorial Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Hudson, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Willow River Cemetery.
