Patricia “Patty” Henke

Patricia “Patty” Henke, age 43 of Woodville, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 26, 2014 at her residence of an apparent heart attack. Patty was born on August 22, 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio; the daughter of Charles and Ann Wren. She was raised in Sidney, Ohio where she attend elementary and high school. She would further her education in phlebotomy and later medical billing and insurance coding. She worked for IP Catalyst for a short time before focusing her time and energy as a homemaker. She would be united in marriage to Craig Allan Henke in Bath, New York on May 21st, 2003.

Patty had a heart of gold and loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was caring and giving and thoroughly enjoyed helping others. Being mom meant the world to her. In fact, she was mom to more than just her kids as their friends often called her ‘mom’ too. She enjoyed cooking and surfing Pinterest to find a fun and exciting recipe for dinner. She took joy in sewing all sorts of items and being in the great outdoors. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary and had a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ.

She will forever remain in the hearts of her husband Craig; children Christopher (Ashley) Krueger and their daughter Paisley, Alexis Krueger and her daughter Annabelle, Donavan Krueger, Bram Henke, Grayson Henke, Zoe Henke; her mother Ann Wren, brother Steve Wren, as well as other extended relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Wren and granddaughter Payton.

A time to gather and reflect on Patty’s life will be Wednesday, July 30th from 1:00-5:00pm at her residence, 215 E. River Street in Woodville. Interment will be private. Memorials are preferred. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes and Countryside Crematory.
