Paul Estrem

Paul Joseph Estrem, age 77, of Hudson, WI formerly of Plymouth, MN died August 11, 2023, at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul.

Paul was born on May 6, 1946, to Dr. Ralph and Ruth (Jacobson) Estrem in the Panama Canal Zone.

Paul was united in marriage with Alyce (nee Smith) in 2008 in Hudson, WI.

After high school, Paul majored in English at Moorhead State University.  He worked as a freelance technical writer. Paul taught himself how to play electric base. He played professionally in the Twin Cities for many years. One of the highlights of his life was jamming with Jose Feliciano.

In the early 1970s Paul became a Christian after reading Hal Lindsey’s “The Late Great Planet Earth”. He became a student of End Times and a devout believer.

Paul is survived by his wife Alyce; son Jason; grandchildren Victoria Estrem, Emma, Lily & Tess Hoglund.

He was preceded in death by his son Dylan.

Gathering will take place at 1-1:30 PM with 1:30 PM Memorial Service Monday August 21 at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Rd, Hudson.  Memorials to Crystal Women’s Clinic, 5640 W. Broadway, Crystal, MN.
