Paul Karis

Paul G. Karis, age 62, of Roberts, WI, passed away on October 29, 2023. He was born on October 14, 1961 to parents Giles Joseph and Ruth Elizabeth (Steinhoff) Karis. He graduated from Onalaska High School and went on to earn an associate degree in electronics. Paul began his career as a truck driver when he was 18 which he was still doing.

He married Donna Stevenson on November 6, 1982, and together they were blessed with three children.

Paul was a true outdoorsman and his favorite place to be was at the cabin. His hobbies included hunting and fishing and he loved watching all Wisconsin sports teams, but especially the Packers. He loved his grandchildren more than anything and he was so proud to be a grandpa.

He will remain in the hearts of his wife Donna; children Keith (Jen) Karis, Kurt Karis, and Kelly (Megan) Karis; grandchildren Jackson, Madeline, and Kora; siblings Sue (Ray) Ronnenberg and Lori (Tobi) Karis, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Kemp and brother Tom Karis.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI from 1-3 p.m. Memorials are preferred to BRIDGE for Community Life.
