Paul Rebholz

Paul Gerard Rebholz, age 56 of Woodbury, Minnesota passed away after a courageous battle with brain cancer on August 12, 2020 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Paul was born on May 28, 1964 in Sparta, Wisconsin to Roger and Ann (Coyle) Rebholz. He grew up in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School in 1982. Paul continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls before earning a MBA at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. He was united in marriage to Laura Meyer on November 11, 1989 in River Falls, WI, and the couple were blessed with two sons, Joshua and Jacob. Paul worked as the Director of Public Finance for the financial services company Baird.

Paul was a devoted husband, dedicated father, and faithful servant of God. He shared his deeply rooted Catholic faith with others through his daily life. He was a member of St Ambrose Catholic Church.

Paul will remain in the hearts of his wife, Laura “Laurie” of Woodbury, MN; sons, Joshua (Taylor) of St. Paul, MN, and Jacob of Woodbury, MN; his mother, Ann Rebholz of Hudson, WI; siblings, Vince (Patti) Rebholz of Knoxville, TN, Nancy (Johnnie) Linto of Lula, GA, and Becky (Patrick) Guenther of Oregon, WI; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Paul will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 21st at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church; 4125 Woodbury Drive, Woodbury, MN. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on both Wednesday, August 19th and Thursday, August 20th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Masks and appropriate social distancing are required at the funeral home and the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Courage Kenny Foundation and Camp Kesem.

Saint Ambrose Catholic Church will be live streaming Paul’s funeral mass starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21st. For those that wish to watch the service, you may connect through Saint Ambrose Catholic Church Facebook Live, a Facebook account is not necessary to view the service.
