On February 8, 2021 after a long bout of cancer, Phyllis Joan Huber, age 72 of Ellsworth, WI, passed away peacefully.  Phyllis was born December 11, 1948 to Clarence and Helen (Kover) White of Emerald, WI.  On March 11, 1978, Phyllis married Irwin Huber of Ellsworth.  They resided in rural Ellsworth until Irwin’s death in 1987.  After living alone for a short while, Phyllis was lovingly cared for by the staff at the Brotoloc Group Homes in Ellsworth, WI until her death.  Phyllis loved collecting dolls, enjoyed crocheting and loved to travel.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Irwin; parents, Clarence and Helen White; and her sister, Betty.  She is survived by her sisters, Helen, Star, Rose and Martha; brother, Ralph; and brother-in-law, Eldon Huber; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will take place 2:00 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Ellsworth, with Pastor Steve Ottman officiating.
