With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Piper Elizabeth Caron, who departed this world on February 12, 2025, at the tender age of 13 days. Born on January 30, 2025, Piper graced our lives with her radiant spirit and profound joy. During her brief time with us, she illuminated the hearts of all who knew her, embodying pure love, tenderness, and unwavering bliss.
Piper was a beacon of light, forever adorned with an endearing smile that spoke volumes. Those who were fortunate enough to hold her in their arms experienced the warmth of her snuggles and the sweet innocence that she so effortlessly shared. Her delight in the world was infectious, as she always possessed an innate ability to express her emotions through charming facial expressions, captivating everyone around her. Though her time was fleeting, it was evident that Piper knew precisely what she wanted—to love and to be loved.
Though our hearts ache with grief, we are grateful for the moments we shared with Piper. We hold tight to the indelible mark she has left on our lives and the love that will forever endure in her absence.
Piper is survived by her parents Jacob Caron and Addison Nurmi; grandparents Matthew and Michelle Caron, Mindie Nordstrom and Nathan Reynolds; great-grandparents Marjorie Anderson, James and Diane Nordstrom, Michael Rothers; aunts and uncles Ainsley Nurmi, Averie Nurmi, Danny Caron; and many cousins, great-aunts and -uncles, and other loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by great-grandma Mary Rothers, great-grandparents August and Patsy Caron, Andy Anderson; and great-great-grandma Jeanette Kurtzbein.
As we gather to celebrate the brief yet impactful life of Piper Elizabeth Caron, we invite family and friends to join us in honoring her memory. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 14107 Hudson Rd. S. Afton, MN, 55001 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Please wear pink to honor Piper.
In this time of reflection, we encourage all who knew Piper to share stories, embrace each other, and cherish the love she so beautifully represented.
May we honor her memory with a celebration of life, a testament to the joy she brought, however brief, to our world. Rest in peace, dear Piper; your light will shine on in the hearts of many.
