Priscilla Stannard Schoeneck

Priscilla Stannard (Creapo) Schoeneck, age 93 of River Falls passed away at home surrounded by her family on October 31, 2021. She was born on May 13, 1928 to Charles and Margaret (Stannard) Sperbeck. Priscilla graduated from New Richmond High School with the Class of 1946. She would further her education attending Hamline University in St. Paul. She was united in marriage to Joseph Creapo in 1949. This union blessed them with five children, Peggy, Joey, Denise, Annie, and Mary. Sadly, he would precede her in death at an early age. Priscilla worked for the University of Wisconsin River Falls for 25+ years and was the Secretary to the Dean of Agriculture Department when she retired in 1990. She later in life remarried to Robert Schoeneck. The couple lived in River Falls before he would precede her in death.

Priscilla was a loving person. Her family was her everything. She was the epitome of a homemaker, who cherished being a wife, mother and grandma. She was a positive light in the community and had a humanitarian heart caring deeply about others. Priscilla had a gentle demeanor and always spoke kindly. She was never without a smile on her face and appreciation in her heart. She was encouraging of people seeking out who they are in this world and supported them whole-heartedly by embracing each person simply as they were. She was blessing to all.

Priscilla will live on in the hearts of her children: Peggy (Tom) Pribil, Denise (Dennis) Metzger, Annie (Mike) Scott, and Mary (Greg) Steele; grandchildren: Jennifer Belknap, Elizabeth Triebold, Lisa Steinborn, Nick Santovi, Maureen Delong, Jessica Scott, Allison Westby, Joey Scott, Abby Giquere and Rheanna Steele; 10 great grandchildren. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husbands: Joseph Creapo and Robert Schoeneck; parents Charles and Margaret Sperbeck; son Joseph Creapo Jr. and brother Robert Sperbeck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 with Father Jerry Harris officiating. A Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the start of Mass. A private burial will be at St. Bridget Cemetery in River Falls, WI.

The Free Clinic of Pierce & St. Croix Counties is recommended if you are interested in sending a memorial in her honor.
