Raymond Paul Vandiepen

Raymond Paul Van Diepen, age 91, of Prescott passed away July 15, 2014 at the Prescott Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. He was born on March 29, 1923 to John and Elizabeth (Holmann) Van Diepen in Boyden, IA. In August of 1956 he was united in marriage to Beverly Jean Phipps in Sheldon, IA. For most of his life he was a machinist working in the ship yards. After his retirement Ray started working for the City of Prescott mowing grass at the area parks.He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Belinda; son, William; his parents and all 13 of his brothers and sisters.Ray is survived by his daughter, Valarie Eicher of Prescott; grandchildren, Kellie (Mike), Nicci, Michael, Jeremy (Heather), Bradley (Kim), Kevin (Kim), Aaron, Megan, Jarod; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
