Richard “Dick” A. M. Kruger, age 70, of River Falls, formerly of Ellsworth, died peacefully surrounded by his family, following a short battle with cancer.Dick was born the son of Starr and Grace (Enberg) Kruger on May 9, 1944 in Red Wing, MN.He married Renee Friese on March 27, 1965 at Bethel Covenant Church, Ellsworth. Two children were born to this union, Jamie and Todd.Dick loved the simple things in life, but most especially his grandkids, family and friends, along with golfing with his buddies. He was a simple guy and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was lucky to have a job that he loved, selling clothing, and was still working up until a few years ago.Dick was a dedicated member of the First Covenant Church, River Falls, WI.Dick is survived by his loving wife, Renee of River Falls.Children: Jamie and her husband Richard Schneckenberger; and Todd Kruger, both of River Falls.Grandchildren: Cain, Hannah, Greta and Sarah Schneckenberger; Benjamin and Annika Kruger.\\Brother, Gary and his wife Carole Kruger, River Falls.Sister in-law, Donna Kruger, River Falls.Dick is further survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Don.Cashman-Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, River Falls, WI is serving the family.
