Richard “Dick” Henry Greenfield, age 86, of Roberts, Wisconsin passed away in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 29th, 2019. Richard was born on February 26th, 1933, in Warren Township, Wisconsin to Howard and Anna (Anderson) Greenfield. Richard grew up in and around Roberts, Wisconsin and graduated from Roberts High School. Richard was married to Elaine Grace (Schrimpf) Greenfield in 1976, in Nashua, Iowa.
Richard was a man who enjoyed life and his family. Dick was known as an avid fan of games of horseshoe, bowling, going fishing, and polka dancing along with his wife. Richard always put his family first. During his life, Richard worked at First National Bank in St. Paul, Minnesota for twenty-seven years, before retiring. Richard then would go on to work for the United States Postal Service for eight years, followed by his time at Walmart, which was for eight years as well.
Richard will be remembered in the hearts of his wife, Elaine; sons, Todd of Somerset, Wisconsin, Jeff (Lori) of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Wade of St. Louis, Missouri; Stepdaughter, Dawn (Steve) Fritz of Stacy, Minnesota; grandchildren, Chani, Aleah, Justin, Lindsay Denucci, Korey and Kristopher.
A time to gather with friends and family in honor of Richard will take place on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, Wisconsin. Richard’s memorial service will take place at 1:00pm, with a time to visit with family and friends beginning an hour prior to his service.
Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
