Richard Grinnell age 64 of Woodville died January 31st 2019 at his residence following an illness with COPD. Richard was born on May 28, 1954 in Baldwin, the son of Rexford and Evelyn (Olson) Grinnell. He attended school in Roberts/Hammond graduating from St. Croix Central High School. For many years, he worked for Andersen Windows in assembly.

Richard enjoyed the outdoors. A favorite was bass fishing on Lake Mallalieu or Pine Lake. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle on country roads or drag racing in Rock Falls. His prized possession was his Pontiac Ventura 307. He loved being surrounded by his family and beloved husky and golden retriever dogs. Rich was meticulous whether his garage, lawn, or when he painted houses. Furthermore, he enjoyed the beauty of a good antique.

Richard is survived by his son Jason (Paula) Grinnell, grandchildren Anthony and Tanner; brother Randy (Cheryl)
Grinnell; half brother Greg (Vicki) Grinnell; sisters Brenda Lee, Roxie Grinnell; daughter-in-heart Tara (Trevor) Davis; and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Rex and Evelyn; three half siblings Ricky, Roland, and Terry.

A Celebration of Life for Richard Grinnell will be on Wednesday February 6th from 5pm to 8pm at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin. Memorials preferred to discretion of the family.
