Richard R. Stolzke, age 77, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Woodstock, IL, died on August 25, 2012 at his home. Born on June 26, 1935 to Arthur and Estelle (Chavez) Stolzke, he attended both St. Mary’s Elementary and High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Upon his return, he enrolled in the Institute of Internal Auditors, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also attended Walton School of Commerce in Chicago and worked as a CPA for Beckerman Terrell & Co., Chicago. He worked for Union Oil Co. as Senior Audit Manager for 30 years as an International Auditor and Financial Fraud Officer, which allowed him to travel extensively, both in the U.S. and abroad.

Richard was an avid golfer, participating in numerous leagues and was a die hard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He was married to Louise Luck and to Carolyn Diane Collins who both preceded him in death, and to Valoriea Loresch, former wife and final caregiver, who survives him.

Richard is also survived by his children, Linda Stolzke of Phoenix, AZ and Jon Stolzke of Hudson, WI; step-sons, Clinton Hetchler of Hudson, WI, Roger E. Hetchler Jr. of Washington State, and Michael Priller of New Richmond, WI; grandson, Jameson Ryker Hanafee Stolzke of New Richmond, WI; siblings, Paul Stolzke of Sun City West, AZ, and Dianne (Joseph) Pomo of Las Cruces, NM; and sister-in-law, Shirley Stolzke and children of Woodstock, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Art Stolzke.

Interment will be at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock, IL.
