Rita Marie Nechville, age 95 of Roberts WI, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Rita was born June 22, 1921 in White Bear Lake, MN to parents Frank and Agnes (Belland) Bibeau. She was the youngest of ten children. Like many of her generation, Rita attended country school. On October 16, 1943, Rita would be united in marriage to Fred Charles Nechville at St. John’s Catholic Church in Little Canada, MN. Their union in marriage would be blessed with four children, and two generations of grandchildren.
From milking cows, to driving tractor, Rita was a dedicated farm wife, who loved the farm life. She was determined, and a hard worker. For her family, Rita did plenty of cooking and baking bread, as well as growing and canning vegetables. She especially enjoyed growing asparagus. She also tended a beautiful flower garden. Rita would often take her vegetables to local Farmers Markets, along with selling sweet corn in and around the community.
Rita is survived by her children, Walter Nechville, Theresa (Mike) Hildebrandt, Jerome “Jerry” (Susan) Nechville, and Henry Nechville; grandchildren, Tammie Hildebrandt, Jennie (Patrick) Curley, Heidi (Dan) Raasch, Angie (Jamie) Ferguson, Scott (Kari) Nechville, and John Nechville; great-grandchildren, Megan and Molly Curley, Tony Hildebrandt, Molly Ferguson, and Lucas and Grace Nechville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nechville; her parents, Frank (Agnes) Bibeau; and her nine siblings, Eva (Julius) Kohler, Alfred Bibeau, Alma Bibeau, Nazaire “Ned” (Dolores) Bibeau, Clara (Casmir) Lasky, Ellen Bibeau, Albert (Emma) Bibeau, Joseph (Gertrude) Bibeau, and Clarence (Goldie) Bibeau.
Mass of Christian Burial for Rita Nechville will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine Street in Hudson WI, with Rev. Fr. John Gerritts officiating. Burial will follow at the Warren Cemetery in rural Roberts WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at the church.
