Robert Douglas Jenson was born on July 29, 1953, in Lake Charles, La. Son of Marjorie Hovland Jenson and Air Force Senior Master Sergeant John Robert Jenson, Bob grew up on Air Force bases in California, North Dakota, Texas, Labrador and Belgium and with family in Fergus Falls, Minn. He graduated from S.H.A.P.E. (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) High School in 1971.Bob joined the Navy in 1973, seeing the world, while based in Norfolk, Va., Great Lakes Naval Station, Ill., and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He served as Chief Petty Officer and retired from the Navy in 1993.Bob moved to River Falls in 1995. He played in pool and darts tournaments, traveled the scenic roads of Wisconsin on his motorcycle, was a competitive marksman, canoed on the Namekagon and enjoyed fishing.He is survived by his brothers, Richard Jenson, of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Ralph Jenson of Minneapolis, MN.
