Robert “Bob” “Kola” Kolashinski, age 65 of River Falls, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly of heart failure on August 22, 2020 at the River Falls Area Hospital. Bob was born on January 13, 1955 in New Richmond to Joseph and Loretta (Erdman) Kolashinski. He grew up in Hudson and had a distinguished high school career on the football field and academically at Hudson High School, graduating with the class of 1973. Bob pursued a career as a master plumber, owning and operating Liberty Plumbing and Repair in River Falls. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Roxanne Cudd. He was loving and generous, and he was delighted to share his knowledge with others. He was the man, husband, dad, brother, uncle, granddad that everyone would want.

Bob was especially fond of spending time on the St. Croix River with his wife, Roxanne. Bob cherished memories of fishing trips to Canada, and successful elk and mule deer hunts. He held a newfound obsession with growing garlic, and chasing the mythical title of “Garlic King.” Bob had a lifelong respect for nature and the environment he truly loved, and was extremely proud of his yard and garden; relishing any time spent on his John Deere.

Bob will remain in the hearts of his wife, Roxanne; daughter, Jamie and her boys, Andon, Tyler and Kai; sister, Judy Jacobsen; niece, Dana Jacobsen and her daughter, Donnisha Jiles; nephews, Joe Kolashinski and Andy (Jenny) Kolashinski; mother-in-law, Janet Cudd and the extended Cudd family. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Kolashinski, mother, Loretta (Bill) Hawkins; brother, Mike Kolashinski; brother-in-law, Don Jacobsen; father-in-law, Paul Cudd, Sr..

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, August 28th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Masks and appropriate social distancing are required. Private interment at a later date.

Bob will be missed and never forgotten. We love you dearly Bob.
