Robert Louis Widiker, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 8, 2025, in Hammond, WI.
Robert (Bob) Widiker was born on September 21, 1949 in Rice Lake, WI, to Robert and Lillian (Jilek) Widiker.
Bob grew up in Birchwood and graduated from Birchwood Highschool in 1967. After graduation he served as a member in the National Guard.
April 16, 1983 Bob and Teassie were united in marriage in Hudson.
The couple raised 5 children, Michelle Widiker, Melissa Blok, Bill Anderson, Jamie Anderson, Amy Larson.
He started his career as a Police Officer with the Hudson Police Department. He served as the Chief of Police Hammond, worked part-time for Baldwin, and retired from Saint Croix County Sheriffs department in 2014. He served his community for over 43 years.
Bob was best known for his love for his wife. His pride and joy was spending time with his 5 kids and 11 grandkids. He spent time with them in his garden, doing woodworking projects, fishing and hunting. He was full of humor, was humble and showed kindness to others. He was always very helpful and giving to anyone he encountered.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife Theresa (Teassie) Widiker; his daughters, Michelle (Rick) Widiker-Fehlen, Melissa (Denny) Blok, Amy (Kyle) Larson; sons Bill (Kelly) Anderson, Jamie (Sarah) Anderson; grandchildren, Trent (Lauren) Fehlen, Raquel (Derek) Fravert, Ariel (Mike) Derosier, Brendon (Taylor) Blok, Hunter (Ashlyn) Anderson, Simon Anderson, Donya (John) Goodwin, Jacob Anderson, Thatcher Anderson, Haley Larson, Mason Larson; his furbabies Rocky, Beau, Koda; Sibilings, Steve (Kathy) Widiker, Gary (Bev) Widiker, Rosie (Steve) Schmidt, Gene (Wendy) Widiker, Lori (Ernie) Zesiger; 5 Great-grandkids, many nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lillian Widiker, and brother Jim Widiker.
Visitation will take place 3-7 PM Friday March 21 at O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson and 3-4 PM Saturday March 22 at church.
The Memorial Service for Robert Widiker will be held 4 PM on Saturday March 22, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2084 Co Rd N Baldwin followed by burial in the Baldwin Cemetery in Baldwin, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
