Rodney Harold Kinneman, 82, of Hager City, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Preferred Senior Living in Ellsworth, Wisconsin.
Rod was born February 10, 1935 in Hager City to Lee and Ruth (Baker) Kinneman. He graduated from Prescott High School, Class of 1952. In 1956 he married Joan Verdick and they had four children. He worked at 3M for over 35 years and farmed his entire life. In 1983, he married Kay Buckner Beach. Rod enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing Euchre, and working on his farm. He loved to snowmobile and participate in tractor pulls.
Rod is survived by his four children, Dawn Clemens; David (Kelly) Kinneman, Steven Kinneman, Scott (Cheryl Hoikka) Kinneman; four step-children, Shelly (Keith) Harvey, Barb (Greg) Kirchner, Penny (Fred) Smith, and Brian (Elizabeth) Beach; four grandchildren, Charles and Charish Clemens, Lexa Kinneman, and Taylor Hoikka; three great-grandchildren, Loegan and Leighton Aguirre and Cora Clemens; three siblings, Avis Huppert, Lloyd (Phyllis) Kinneman, and Dorie (Dick) Keeley; and an aunt, Evie Baker.
Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Kay; son-in-law, Rodney Clemens; daughters, Robin Ayn and Ruth Ayn; sisters, Marian Keichler and Deloris Schommer-Webster; brothers Bob and Alan Kinneman.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, July 7, 2017 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Prescott. Burial to follow service at Diamond Bluff Cemetery in Hager City, Wisconsin.
