Roger Leen

Roger R. Leen, age 81 of Hudson, died at his home on April 12, 2019.

Roger was born on June 8, 1937 in Poplar, Minnesota; the son of Rudolph and Roseanna (Rothwell) Leen. He attended Lamberton High School in Minnesota and graduated with the Class of 1957. Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963. On February 4, 1967, Roger was united in marriage to Maxine Lundell in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Together they were blessed with two sons, Cary and Randy. Roger worked for Armours from 1963-1973, Space Center from 1973-1987, and Intek from 1987-2001; retiring in 2002.

Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching old western movies. He was a collector of traditions and stories to be told through the family generations. Roger was a practical, and humble man. He was reserved until he really got to know and understand someone. Roger savored his half a cup of coffee and time at garage sales. More than anything, Roger took pride in his family and adored his children and grandchildren.

Roger will remain in the hearts of his sons, Cary (Jennifer) Leen of Hammond and Randy Leen of Hudson; grandchildren, Morgan, Erin, Lauren, Emma, and Ryan Leen; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; parents, Rudolph and Roseanna; brother, Arnold Leen; in-laws, Alvin and Phoebe Lundell, Myron Lundell and Rozella Ozmun.
