Rolf Henry Tiedemann

Rolf H Tiedemann, age 96, Hudson, passed away on Fri March 28 2025. Born in Baldwin, WI, April 24 1928 to Henry and Mona Tiedemann. He lived his entire life in St Croix County, with the exception of time spent in South Korea with the peacekeeping forces. In Sept 1963 he married Ilene Hanley. They had two children, Kay and Kevin.

Rolf enjoyed the simple things in life. Time spent outdoors, enjoying sunshine and a breeze, in the woods and golf course. His gardens were the envy of the neighborhood. Weeds dare not take root there. He supplied veggies to many family and friends. But his most treasured times were spent with family. After the kids grew, Rolf and Ilene traveled throughout the U.S. visiting family along with a trip to Ireland. In recent years they could be found on the sofa sharing a blanket watching TV.

Rolf is survived by his children Kay Peskar and Kevin (Stacey) Tiedemann. Grandchildren Matthew Peskar, Miranda Peskar, Beth Tiedemann (Mike Reyer), Alli Galloway (David) and Andy Tiedemann (LuAnn). Great Grandchildren Marshall, Mariah,Luke, Ari, Gwen, Grayson, Remy and Rowan. Siblings Mary Ann Traiser, Betty Chryst, Martha Bauer and Rolly (Peg) Tiedemann. And Sister-in-law Darlene Hanley.
Preceded in death by his wife of 59 yrs, Ilene, son-in-law Tracy Peskar, brothers Phil (June)Tiedemann and Lyle Tiedemann, brothers and sisters in law: Grace and Lester Dedrick, Andy and Alva Kinney, John Hanley, Dick Bauer, Robert Chryst and Charles Traiser.

The family wants to thank the staff of Red Cedar Canyon for their support and care while our parents resided there. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
