Ronald F. Kult

Ronald F. Kult, 88, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Stillwater, MN, passed peacefully at home on March 1, 2021, surrounded by family.

He is survived by wife of 43 years, Linda; children: James (Penny) Kult and mother Mary Ann Kult, John (Erika) Kult, Elizabeth (Brian) Beske, Ann Marie (James) Burke; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Ella and Emelia; great-grandchild Lilly; brother Marshall (Jane) Kult; sister-in-law Violet Kult and brother-in-law William Sommerfield and special friend and cousin, Frank Pribil (Joann).

He enlisted in the United State Air Force at the young age of 17. Was a radar control operations Alaska. Honorable Discharged in December, 1953 as Airman First Class. Did Business School and attended the University of MN to go into accounting. Not sitting still behind a desk, he started working at Midway Can (now Midway Container) St. Paul, MN. Ron was there for 43 years, as a salesman and Vice President. This position offered him to travel and he acquired many friends over the years.

He had a love for fishing and hunting of water fowl. Many Canadian fishing trips with family and duck hunting in the fall. The hunting included his many labs: Rex, Duke, King, Gusto to name a few.

There were many family vacations to different destinations. After retirement in 1999, Ron and Linda were fortunate to spend 21 seasons going South.

He was given a Honda Scooter for his 80th birthday. That rode him to the YMCA to exercise 7 days a week. Ever Faithful.

He enjoyed in the later years his bird feeders and setting out the Hummingbird feeders to watch them come and go.

Great love for his grandchildren and they loved his Thinner Winners (pancakes). In the last few years, the grand-girls would read to him.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.

We especially thank the staff from Lakeview Hospice that took such special care for him the last several months.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 16770 13th St. S, Lake St. Croix Beach, MN. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church. Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Bayport.
