Rosemary Catherine Lynch, age 79, of River Falls, WI passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Lutheran Home in River Falls. She was born March 29, 1935 in Menomonie, WI to James and Agnes (Finder) Kelley. She received a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. On December 29, 1956 she was united in marriage to John Henry Lynch in Menomonie. Rosemary taught Home Economics in River Falls for over 35 years. Even after her retirement, she continued to serve her community in countless ways, such as returning to RFHS to be a guest teacher or hosting foreign exchange students from UWRF. Rosemary’s patience, generosity and warm smile will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, and two brothers, David Kelley and Michael Kelley.

Rosemary is survived by her loving children, Peggy (James) Beattie of Minneapolis, MN, Mark (Mary Jane) Lynch of Oak Grove, MN; two grandchildren, Mitch (Sarah) Kassera of Blaine, MN, Kelly Kassera of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandson, John James Kassera; sister, Doris Kelley of Menomonie, WI.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Friday, 1/23/15, at Luther Memorial Church in River Falls, WI. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, 1/22/15, at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home in River Falls, WI.
