Roxanne Grinnell, age 63 of Woodville, WI passed away on March 25, 2024.

Roxanne Kay Grinnell was born May 5, 1960 to Rexford and Evelyn (Olson) Grinnell.

Her resilience in the face of adversity was truly inspiring; despite the many challenges she faced after her stroke, her determination remained unwavering, serving as a testament to her remarkable strength.

Roxie’s affinity for nature, particularly birds and flowers, was profound. Her giving heart left an indelible mark on those around her. Whether it was her renowned peanut brittle during the holidays or her thoughtful gestures like tending to the cemetery plants and always having dog treats on hand, Roxie epitomized the essence of generosity.

Above all, Roxie held her role as a grandmother in the highest regard. Her granddaughters brought her immense pride and joy. She eagerly participated in their events, cherishing every opportunity to be a part of their lives. The tradition of sending cards for all Holidays to them will be a cherished memory for years to come. Her bond with her cat, Whitey, added warmth and companionship to her days. Active in a stroke survivor’s group, Roxie relished the camaraderie and shared experiences. She found joy in simple pleasures like shopping and dining out with friends whenever possible.

Though Roxie’s absence leaves a void impossible to fill, her legacy of love, strength, and generosity will endure in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her. She was one of a kind, and her memory will be treasured eternally.

  1. May God hold Roxie in his loving arms as he welcomes her into his Kingdom.
Roxie was always a kind and w welcoming human to me. She will missed.

  2. Paige, what a “knee-weakening” shock! Your mom was a true friend and inspiration during the time that I was honored to spend with her. I feel that she shared her feelings and thoughts as much as she could; always guarding, just a bit. She felt that she had been “wronged” by some and her heart was so big that she had to protect it, somehow. Tough, but gentle, is how I will remember Roxie. During this last 1-2 years she had crawled out of sadness, heartache and bitterness; she was more and more enjoyable to be with. I believe that you are responsible for her healing. She loved you and your daughters. What a beautiful tribute you created in this obituary. May God bless you. Sincerely, and heart-broken for the loss of Roxie, I remain, Loreen
