Ruby Mae Johnson, 83, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 in River Falls. She was born May 26, 1934 in Hartland Township to Ray and Martha (Bolland) Hanson.
Ruby loved sewing and crafts, working for Langwear Sewing Factory early in her life and making several items of clothing for her family. She retired from Smeads after 25 years of service. Ruby enjoyed listening to music and dancing, and watching Minnesota Vikings football.
Surviving Ruby are her two children, Virgil Johnson of River Falls, WI and Nancy Johnson of Tucson, AZ; one granddaughter, Jessica Savage of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Shirley Whipple of CO and Bonnie Bystrom of IL.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Vernon Hanson; sisters, Gladys Mitchell and Loraine Murphy.

A Funeral Service for Ruby will be 2:00 pm, Friday, July 14, 2017 at English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, WI. A Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.

O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
