S. Dianne Gordon

Sibyl Dianne Gordon passed peacefully, with loved ones holding her hands, on January 23rd. Due to advanced dementia, Dianne resided in Assisted Living facilities since July, 2023. Most recently, residing at Hammond Health Services.

Dianne was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She also lived in Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia and ultimately Wisconsin. Graduating from Robert E. Lee High in Virginia, Dianne then earned advanced degrees in finance.

In her chosen profession, banking, she was promoted from Teller to Vice President. She worked with Mortgage banking in Florida and Georgia. Through her leadership in American Institute of Banking, Dianne regularly instructed seminars.

As a member of American Business Women’s Association, she was nominated to President for several terms.

Following in her Mother’s footsteps; Dianne was a musician and talented artist. Her hobbies also included photography and travel.

Dianne is survived by sister, Jackie L. Gordon; Cousins Mary (Gordon) and James Myrick, Steve and Judy Gordon, Billy and Jill Bittle; as well as many other relatives and dear friends. Dianne is preceded in death by our parents, Sibyl P. Gordon Jack A. Gordon; bother-in-law, W. Blaine Sandoval.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, February 8th in the “Farmhouse”, Heritage Center, 1100 Heritage Dr, New Richmond, WI 54017 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

A second Celebration of Life will be scheduled in Georgia in April.
