Sandra L. Flaherty, died on October 29, 2024 at Regions Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1943 in Saint Paul, MN, to parents Jesse and Mary Hecht.

Sandra had a passion for reading and treasured every moment spent with her grandkids, whom she adored dearly. Sandra had a deep connection with nature, nurturing honeybees and tending to her apple trees. Her dedication extended to the community, as she shared the fruits of her labor by selling apples at local farmers’ markets for many years.

Sandra is survived by her children Jay Flaherty, Rachel Lorentzen; grandchildren Robbie Lorentzen, Jesse and Mary Flaherty. She is preceded in death by her husband Patrick Flaherty; son-in-law Robert Lorentzen; parents Jesse and Mary Hecht.
