Sandra Marie Symicek, age 58, of Ellsworth, WI passed away peacefully, at her residence on January 24, 2019. She was born on September 14, 1960 in Durand, WI to Raymond and Phyllis (Stromness) Morgan. On September 8, 1995 she was united in marriage to David Lee Symicek in Ellsworth, WI.
Sandy worked as Pharmacy Technician for 14 years, first at Village Pharmacy and later at Shopko Pharmacy. After leaving the pharmacy she found her dream job, being a teacher’s aide which she thoroughly loved. Sandy spent two years at St. Francis Catholic School and one and a half years at Ellsworth Elementary School.
Sandra was a people person, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved working with her kids at school, or spending time with friends. Her and David enjoyed going to many different sporting events and enjoyed supporting the Hubbers Baseball Team. She would spend a lot of time talking on her phone to family and friends, or being on Facebook.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Phyllis Morgan; daughter, Kayla Symicek; sister, Pat Poeschel; brothers, William Patrick Morgan and Bruce Morgan; special aunt, “MOM”, Diane Bjork.
Sandra is lovingly survived by her husband of 23 years, David Symicek; her children, Heather Bashaw (Eric Stolan), Matthew (Amanda) Symicek, Renee (Larry) Warrington, Holly (Ted) Born; her grandchildren, Emma, Cooper, Nora, Addison, Marcus, Ellie, Catherine, Rebekah, Isabel, Sarah, Rita, Joseph, Julia; siblings, Robert Morgan, Debbie Morgan (Frank), Carolyn Gorman; special uncle, “DAD”, Ron Bjork; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends; also survived by her special pet, Jordy.
Memorial services for Sandra will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 2nd at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Gathering of family and friends will be 9:00-11:00am also at the church on February 2nd. Interment in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Ellsworth, WI.
