Sandra Milliren

Sandra Jean Milliren, age 53 of St. Paul, MN, passed away January 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul after a courageous fight with cancer.  Sandra was born February 25, 1967 in Durand, WI to Martin and Cecilia (Wolf) Milliren.  She graduated from Plum City High School, with the Class of 1985.  Sandi worked as a reservation agent and was the voice of the St. Paul Hotel for over 11 years.  She enjoyed her career, establishing great connections, gaining wonderful friendships and taking care of the needs of customers.  For the past few years, Sandi worked as a receptionist for Infor in St. Paul.

Sandi brought beams of sunshine and smiles wherever she went.  She had a magnetic personality, and was a gem of upward light, that truly shined.  A “diva” described as fresh, youthful and giving her best, with a heart of gold, who went out of her way to make sure others felt good around her too. Sandi appreciated the beauty of life and looked for positivity and laughter around her.  She enjoyed the beauty of sunsets, good food, fine wine and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.  Her heart delighted in attending concerts, the Minnesota State Fair and spending weekend get-a-ways in the Pepin area with her family and friends.  She had a special place in her heart for cats and loved her beloved Harley and Dylan as though they were her children.   Sandi’s inspiring love for life and fun will be dearly missed, but will leave a forever handprint in the hearts of those who knew her.

Sandi is survived by her best friend and true love, Jason Lohn; brothers, James (Beth) Milliren of Spring Valley, Robert (Mary) Milliren of Plum City and Kenneth (Leah) Milliren of Plum City; sisters, Sally Noel of Little Canada, MN and Susan Milliren of Longmont, CO; nieces and nephews: Anthony (Cathy), Jordan, Adam, Kristen (Ryan), Hannah, Bradley (Danni) and Ashley; great nephews, Oakley and Landon; dear friend, Kim (Jack) Kedrowski; and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Cecilia Milliren.

Private family services will be held from 3:00-4:00 p.m. A Gathering of Family and Friends (masks and social distancing required) will take place 4:00-7:00 Thursday, February 25, 2021 at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 N Grant St., Ellsworth, WI.
