Sandra ‘Sandi’ Krueger

Sandra Elizabeth “Sandi” Krueger, age 69 of Somerset, died unexpectedly on November 15, 2015 at her home.

Sandi was born on September 12, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the daughter of Willard “Woody” and Inga (Kempe) Weberg. She graduated from Osseo High School in 1964. Sandi was united in marriage to Stanford “Stan” Krueger on December 26, 1981 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, MN. Together they owned and operated Standi Toys, a company that manufactured farm toys. The couple lived in Maple Grove, MN and Vadnais Heights, MN before settling in Somerset, WI in 1993.

Sandi loved her family dearly, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also had a deep affection for animals, using the term “pawpets” to refer to her dogs and cats. Sandi was a kind woman. She enjoyed listening to music and playing the piano. She loved to decorate, loved catering for others, and always brought the most elaborate food to share at any potluck. Sandi loved God, and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.

Sandi will remain in the hearts of her husband of 33 years, Stan; sons, Donald Jeszewski and Mark Jeszewski; step-children, Tanya Krueger (fiancé, Dean Schue), and Scott Krueger; numerous grandchildren; step-mother, Betty Weberg; sister, Susan Weberg (partner, Greg Brooks); and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by an infant son, Eric Krueger; and parents, Woody and Inga Weberg.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21st at Bethel Lutheran Church – Highlands Campus, 504 Frontage Road, Hudson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private interment at the Mt. Olive East Cemetery in Delano, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
