Scott G. Wang, age 54, of Hayward, WI, formerly of Hudson, WI, passed away June 1, 2016 at his home in Hayward.
Scott was born on February 20, 1962 in St. Paul, MN; the son of Arlen and Marion (Lindberg) Wang. He grew up in Arlington Heights, IL, and was attending John Hersey High School prior to moving to Hudson and graduating from Hudson High School in 1980. Scott continued his studies at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN, and eventually opened his own business, St. Croix Diversified, in 1984. On July 21, 1990, he was united in marriage to Sarah Sime in Montana. Their union would later dissolve, but the couple was blessed with two sons, Andy and Matt. Scott owned and worked for several adhesive bonding companies including Bondpro Corp. in Hudson and later Adhesive Bonding Tech in Hayward. Scott was a true outdoorsman. He looked forward to his many trips to Canada with his boys. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and downhill skiing in Big Sky Montana, traveling to Key West, FL in the winter, and hunting and shooting with family in Wisconsin.
Scott will remain in the hearts of his sons, Andy and Matt; parents, Arlen and Marion Wang of De Soto WI; brothers, Mark (Jane) Wang of De Soto, WI and Bruce Wang of New Richmond WI; and a host of great friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Scott’s life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home; 520 So. 11th St, Hudson.
