Stephanie Sue Turnbell, 51, of Red Wing, MN, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at her home.
She was born on July 29, 1963, in Red Wing, the daughter of the late James and Vivian (Thompson) Turnbell. Stephanie was a 1981 graduate of Prescott High School. She was married and had one daughter, Leslie.
Stephanie was employed as a landscaper by Sargent’s Nursery for many years and Cannon River Ranch and Custom Curiors. She did yard care for many elderly ladies. Her last employment was with Red Wing Shoes.
Stephanie enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Leslie and granddaughter, Trinity, taking her dog, Carly, for walks, going to her cabin, taking care of her horses, spending time with her family and many friends, being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. Stephanie will fondly be remembered as one who simply enjoyed life. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her.
Those Stephanie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Leslie Marie Wilkens of Ellsworth, WI; her granddaughter, Trinity Jo Wilkens of Ellsworth, WI; her brothers and sisters, Craig Turnbell of Detroit, TX, Cindy (John) Oelke of Stockholm, WI, Trudy (Tony) Huppert of Baldwin, WI, Lindy (Korin) Turnbell of Bay City, WI, LeAnne Dohm of Wilson, WI; dear friends, Woodchip, Christy, Jennifer, Heidi, Lorri Ann, Delores, Dick and Pete, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service for Stephanie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth.
Stephanie’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
