Steven Brathol

Steven Alan Brathol passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. Steve was born on April 6, 1954 in Baldwin, WI, to parents Raymond and Eulaine (Forsythe) Brathol. He graduated from St. Croix Central High School in 1972 and continued his education at WITC. Steve worked in IT support at Securian Financial in St. Paul.

He married his high school sweetheart Suzanne Frank on June 2, 1973 and together they were blessed with three sons. He was a devoted husband to his wife and loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially attending their school and sporting events; family was the most important thing to Steve. You could often find him working in his garage or watching a Brewers, Packers, or Badgers game, but his favorite place to be was out fishing on the lake. He particularly enjoyed ice fishing. He will be remembered for his witty humor, generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need.

He will remain in the hearts of his loving wife Suzanne; children Cory Brathol, Jeremy Brathol (Tara), and Eric Brathol (Michelle); grandchildren Brevon, Brianna, Bennett, Jaxon, Addison, and Taylar; siblings Don Brathol, Linda (Wes) Halle, Diane (Al) Nielsen, Doug (Shelly) Brathol; brothers and sisters-in-laws Daryl (Susan) Frank, Mike (Dory) Frank, Luanne Gerhardt, Ed (Christine) Frank, Patti (Todd) Criego, and Missy (Mike) Gruenes, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Eulaine Brathol, father and mother-in-law Harland and Stella Frank, sisters-in-laws Patricia Brathol and Barb Frank, brother-in-law Al Gerhardt, and niece Sammie Criego.
