Sylvester George Ahmann, 91, of Prescott, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the American Heritage Care Center, in Hammond, WI.

Cy was born on September 7, 1923 in Lake Henry, MN the son of Al and Anna (Krawcych) Ahmann. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. Cy married Eileen Stelflug on November 19, 1949 in Brandon, MN. He worked for the 3M Company for 32 years retiring in 1986. He enjoyed playing cards and bowling and Cy loved to travel and be of help to his family. But most of all his family was his life.

Cy is survived by his wife Eileen. Children: David (Anne); Steven; Michael; Sheryl (Tim) Cincoski; and Patricia (Jim Matz) Ahmann.

Grandchildren: Laura Ahmann and Jonathan (Grace) Ahmann. Great grandchildren: Taylor, Annabelle, Jackson, Ashton, and Emma.

Preceding him in death were his parents and three sisters Florence, Delphine, and Alice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am, Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Prescott, WI. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls, MN. Visitation will be for one half hour prior to the Mass on Thursday.
