Tammy L. Severson (Hill)

Tammy L. Severson (nee: Hill), age 51, of Houlton, WI, passed away suddenly on February 5, 2017. 

Tammy was born on December 6, 1965 to Ronald and Diane (Albertson) Hill in Stillwater, MN. She attended Houlton Elementary School, and Hudson High School. After high school, Tammy was blessed with her three daughters: Sondra, Chelsea, and Mackenzie. 

She had a passion and gift to care for everyone in all aspects of her life, from her home to her career.

Tammy was an avid fisherwoman who loved spending time on the lake in her boat, fishing and soaking up the sun. She loved her cellphone, traveling to warm destinations, watching movies, and spending time outdoors camping, snowmobiling and skiing. She had a talent for fixing something that was broken, and a lover of photography.

Tammy was a huge supporter of her family and friends. She always protected and stood up for her family and friends, who continuously put herself on the line for those she loved most. She was a passionate and vibrant person, whose light and laughter illuminated any room she walked in to. Her bravery and spitfire attitude made her the life of the party, always living on the edge and getting into shenanigans with her family.  She was outspoken with a loving personality and provided endless amounts of unconditional love to those she cared about. 

Survived by her husband, Eugene; children: Sondra (Dustin) MacDonald, Chelsea (Travis) Yorek, and Mackenzie O’Hara; step-son, Cody Severson; beagle, Bandit Renegade; grandchildren: Kianna, Landon, and Kamden MacDonald, Maxwell Boie, and Marlee Young; step-grandchildren, Tristan and Tia Yorek; father, Ronald (Robin) Hill; mother, Diane (Bill) Morgan; siblings, Ron (Connie) Hill and Tracy (Michael) Frye; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Pearl & Norman Albertson, Merrill Hill, and Lucille & Wally Jahns.

Visitation for Tammy will be from 4-8PM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson. Funeral Service will be at 2PM, Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the funeral home, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the family.
